The federal government has banned the purchase and distribution of conference bags, T-shirts and other souvenirs at events such as conferences and seminars funded by federal ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs). This is contained in a statement made available by the director of information, federal ministry of finance, Salisu Dambatta on Sunday, July 31, in Abuja According to the statement, new measures were approved by President Muhammadu Buhari following recommendations by the Efficiency Unit of the Federal Ministry of Finance
